The Philadelphia Phillies came through in a big way in the 2008 World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, delivery the first championship to the City of Brotherly Love in 25 years.
The sheer elation experienced by Philadelphia sports fans was summed up so eloquantly by second baseman Chase Utley who shouted "World Fucking Champions" during the Phillies ceremony at Citizens Bank Park following the victory parade down Broad Street.
